Such is the modern way.<br /><br />wrt detachments, I've been undecided. I usually include support in the bases themselves, but there is no reason why you couldn't use a Megablitz type rear-base support option. I would restrict it to appropriate troops combinations (like infantry and tanks trained to work together, or heavy tank/SP guns etc).<br /><br />You'd need to think about casualty allocation from return fire and close combat - there is a danger you'll end up creating super units. With such a low unit count you need to be quite careful.
